The first scene of this movie is one of the most unbelievable things I've seen in film, this man portrays a character unlike anything I've seen before--and definitely unlike any stereotypical figure of the Nazi--he's not only evil, but cruel in an absurd, ironic, even comical way, that scene was an extraordinary mingle of comedy and tragedy. He's impeccable throughout the whole movie.

@gmhmilenio Christoph gave one of the most brilliant performance in the history of cinema, no doubt. Tarantino gave him his american career and he gave Tarantino one of the best movies ever :)

Before Inglorious Basterds Waltz was the most underrated German actor ever. The German movies he had to play in before sucked!

@gmhmilenio: From what my grandma told me, SS people actually were that “happy evil”. Especially the Hitler youth types. She told me that they didn’t seem like humans anymore. They didn’t act or think like humans. What were horrors to normal people, were “fun” to them. His portraying reminded me a lot of what my grandma told me. Fuck that must have been scary to see such a real-life horror film monster with a happy smile.

Christoph Waltz is an amazing actor. I didn't even want to see the Green Hornet... then I found out he was in the movie, and now it's at the top of my 'to-see' list x).
