What are you talking about? x and y are the differentiating chromosomes -.- both genders have an X. what makes them different is whether the x is paired with an x or a y. Males : XY, Females : XX. I don't see how you guys can't understand that. Maybe the way I said it originally was too confusing for people.

OMFG IT WAS POKEMON FROM THE OLDER GAMES *nerdgasm* BTW i think nintendo should do a remake of pokemon gen 1 and 3 (gen 1 = first 151 pokemon. gen 3 = Emerald, Saphire and ruby e.g mudkip, trecko, torchic)

lol. You're a little late oxen. If you read the above comments you'd know this thread is kind of done already. But yeah, I ended up agreeing with someone else, it makes more sense for it to be spatial vectors.

It's X and Y because they're vectors, in the 3D game, I suspect the third one will be called Pokemon Z. Hence three dimensions.
