Yes, all those music directors.. some other names too - Hansraj Behl, Shyamsundar (his memorable stuff from films Bazaar & Lahore still ring in the ears) & Chitragupta. What is astounding is that ALL of them came together in such a short period as 15 to 20 years! Quite incredible. Verily dreamy.
Yes, Sajjad Hussain was a very good music director. I think he created music for Sangdil. As for Parchain, C.Ramachandra has given great music. Lata has sung better in Katatein hain Dukh mein din than dard-e-jigar. Talat Mehmood sang one of his most soulful songs under CR in this film:Muhabbat jo nahin samjhe, woh zaalim pyaar kya jaane.
@kishorekrao yeah and don't forget husnlal bhagatram also made great compositions good comment these were great musicians gave us good memories and this song especially reminds me times i wish i could go back to
Kishorekrao the names you have mentioned were the Music Directors who at that time, made music for past, present and future. Most of them were so talented, they'd make a melody and and instruct the writer to pen a song that would fit in it. Now that's something!
Brilliant melody! Has been my favourite for over forty years - i.e. ever since I awoke to the glittering array of tunes of the forties and fifties! What composers they were - C. Ramchandra, Khemchand Prakash, Shyamsundar, Ghulam Haider, Ghulam Mohammad, Anil Biswas, Madan Mohan, S.D. Burman, Salil Choudhry, Naushad, Hemant Kumar, SJ...I'm out of breath. Thanks to all for the treasure that we cherish till today and will continue for ever.
