Brings back memories.

Saved my paper route money for a year to come up with my half (Dad payed the other half) to buy an Adam. God, I had fun with it. Thanks for sharing!

@Dmilewis Yep, it sure is. Brings back lots of memories. The serious printers at the time where some version of a Daisy wheel.

Had a Coleco, but never did get the Adam computer for it.
-
I believe it was called a Daisy Wheel.

Ah, I remember this. I'm glad the rest of you had so much fun. For me, it was an enormous disappointment. I got mine before they warned not to put electronic storage media near it. Fried a bunch of ADAM & music tapes. Drive stretched several more tapes into thin floss. Eventually shorted and caught fire. I'd mentioned a friend's Apple, mom only remembered "something with an 'a'" in the name. It sucked. Stupid design. Daisy wheel printer for power supply? Ugh.

Wow! Thanks for this demonstration video! I've recently gotten turned on again to all the classic computing and video gaming I grew up with (ColecoVision, Atari 2600, NES, TRS-80) and a lot of what I didn't grow up with (ADAM, Intellivision, Sega Master System, etc.)
I'd like to attend AdamCon next year (AdamCon dot org). The AdamCon23 will be in summer 2011 in Cleveland, OH. Have you ever been to AdamCon?

Yeah it had a daisy wheel printer. Man I remember this like it was yesterday.

That's awesome! I had the ADAM when I was a little boy in 1986. I remember how much I LOVED that computer, it wasn't the Apple II that I really wanted but it was a computer and that was the best thing in the world! My i7 is a far cry from that old gem!
