It's for magic moments like this I travel. These gibbons woke me up one early morning in Paksong, Laos. Like many other species in Southeast Asia and other tropical areas, bush-meat hunting and deforestation has decimated them.
Since they were singing, I'm assuming they were a male and female, but then probably juveniles because sexually mature females of this species are all blonde. (So, in short, I don't know.)
The music is Schubert and the gibbon song is a separate recording. The audio track from this recording was unusable.
