Paula Gloria goes farther down the rabbit hole of the art scene in NYC at the Yorkville Creperie between 83rd and 84th on York for Peter G. Pereiera's "Paradox Box" Performance March 10th, 2010. As the artist paints and dancers dance, the viewer has an opportunity to enter into the mind of the artist, which as Peter says will hopefully not be an unpleasant experience although he admits to being a creature of some violence as he paints the first of 12 doors symbolic of the journey through life towards awakening. Playing in the background are Peter's musical compositions, one using interpretations from the I Ching.

  • click on the yellow band below the vid to go to Molly's interview with Peter. Much clearer and easier to hear Peter

  • 3:09 Shanti, a wonderful volunteer at MNN & WBAI keeps Paula Gloria on the topic of donations, clearly a difficult topic 4 Paula as she wonders about how the information she gives is taken, especially on hemp oil which clearly cures cancer (among other things) but is illegal. How can community TV help people step up to the plate to not just listen but act? Another difficult topic is that of rent, even in the co-ops which are supposed to be shareholder owned apartments in New York.

The artist, Peter G. Pereiera starts painting at 11:50 . This piece is a meditation, especially watching the dancing and painting.
