The complete recording sessions of "Come And Get It" took place at Abbey Road Studios on 24th July 1969. Only Paul recorded this song. This tape contains all the nine takes recorded by Paul McCartney on 2nd August 1969 with the band The Iveys, later The Badfinger.

  • Yeah, that's Mike Gibbins playing drums on this. Much harder attack on the cymbals than Paul did on the demo.

  • This sounds like Paul with The Iveys trying to get a rhythm track going.

  • This is Paul with Badfinger laying down basic tracks... the demo was already done and preseneted to Badfinger. That's how and why the other guys know what to play.

  • There is definitely more than one musician playing on this track. To many breakdowns where multiple instruments can be heard stopping all at the same time.

  • Are you sure this isn't Paul producing the Badfinger re-make? It seems as if he's giving instructions to other musicians. "I'll be in with them, cos he's watching Bill"
