    Or can you give us how it's layerd??

    Layer 1. Firebrick

    Layer 2. Looks like mineral wool held down by chicken wire

    Layer 3. ????

    Layer 1  firebrick

    Layer 2 ceramic fire blanket

    Layer 3 chicken wire

    Layer 4 50mm of vermiculite mixed with 'fondo' (refractory cement from france)

    Layer 5 basic sand cement mix

    Layer 6 render bag mix

    Layer 7 emer-clad (nice stretchy waterproof cladding paint to keep the rain out)

    Finally many great nights with family and friends, drinking beer and eating fantastic wood-fired pizza and bread.

  • I really like your oven. Very nice job. Im just starting the construction of the oven myself and Im liking your igloo so much I may got that route instead of the gabled house. Thank you very much for sharing
