I now drive a Mustang. I've been in love with it for like 3 years now and still i am loving it.

@brobinson75 Oh, and it seems that the '05-'09 drew its inspiration from the original 1964 Mustang.. (less curvy, no "squatting" rear fenders, flat rear decklid, taillights right next to each other, verticle front grille, the more "round" looking headlights, etc..)

@brobinson75 Well I mean the '67-'69 Mustangs had a sort of gap between each individual light which is kinda replicated in the '10-'12 Mustangs.. Idk, my favorite models are the 1969-1970 Mustang fastbacks which the '10-'12 seemed to replicate fairly closely. There's the "squatting" rear fenders, the curved rear decklid, the curves on and around the hood, the aggressive slightly angled front grille..and the spaced out sequential tail lights, of course.

But yeah, to each his own.

@Cosmo1093 sorry, mean the '05-'09 then. Maybe if they would have incorporated the sequential lights into the '09 tail, it would look better, but I don't like the overall look of the taillights on the new model. To each his own.

@brobinson75 '10-'12 have identical bodies. Besides, the '10-'12 Mustangs draw more cues from classic 1964.5-70 Mustangs than the '05-'09. Sequential taillights are one of those classic 60's cues, how can you hate those?

I like the '05-'10, but the '11 got ugly, especially with the taillights. Don't need those sequential ones, the '05-10 had a cleaner tail.
