Can't Kim Jong-Il have doctors put a new pancreas in him to replace the bad one? I'm sure he can obtain a new pancreas from one of his healthy subjects.

The problem is that as far as I can see, the damage has already been done. The country is impoverished and the people probably don't know which way is up.

Even if a democracy was installed tomorrow (which it won't be) I still think it would take a long time for the rest of the world to warm up to them.
