My Room (2006) from the archives

I've been going though some of my discs because I'm trying to find all my old cartoons and re-upload them in high quality, and I stumbled upon this little gem, the workstaion I built back in 2006 where I did my cartoons. This is from an S-Video CD so I have no idea how it's gonna look on YT, I hope it doesnt come out all squashed up, oh and Viacom don't screw me just because Spongebob and Saved by the bell are on in the background.

clem your cartoons are hilarious. maybe you could them directly into adobe flash via wacom tablet. would take a fraction of the time

@raindogred I might move over to flash for my later cartoons, thing is i've already started on a huge progect that's all done the way I've done all my cartoons, but I'm going to experiment with flash and see if I can do anything and maybe make some ''in-between my main project'' flash animations. I have flash somewhere (I think its version 8), but I'll probably upgrade one of the Adobe CS ones.

@badbob1983 I think it' the contrast in the video making me look tanned. I still have all that stuff somewhere, but now i have the computer there just set up as a desktop computer.

@Jallge in 2006 I wasn't even aware of any sites like You Tube, I rarely used the web back then, but after I discovered YouTube in 2008 I'm on it nearly all the time.

@CoolDudeClem I got thinking about how you illustrate directly into your computer - a lot of illustrators a few years back used those wacom tablets.check out a video titled - " iPad Animating with DoInk Animation & Drawing App and Wacom Bamboo Stylus"

this guy is doing some really cool stuff with an ipad - looks real simple and even more intuitive than flash!!! might be worth a look. one catch you need an ipad :)

WOW! That is amazing! You had a cool setup, too bad it's down now. Very interesting to see the CoolDudeClem of 2006! I have videos from 2006 and other years, too on VHS, but due to not having the right software, can't directly put them on 'Tube:(

@SlimeTron5000 i discovered youtube in 2007, and i like the new youtube. very simple very plain. but the video playback has some issues. i liked the way the old youtube looked and worked, i just think that it's a lot better now.
