"Love Makes a Family" -- Happy Holidays from MoveOn.org

This year, over 18 million people saw Zach Wahls defend marriage equality on behalf of his family in front of the Iowa Legislature.

This month, thousands of families submitted photos, joining Zach and his family in sending out this simple holiday greeting.....and creating this video and online campaign called "Love Makes a Family."

@knicks1616 Everyone who gets divorced is making the same "intentional" choice. My sisters and I were raised by a single mother and we all excelled in school all the way through graduate school, went on to have good careers and raise wonderful, successful children. From my perspective as a teacher and a grandmother, I can tell you that it's not about gender, it's about values and caring. I wouldn't trade my single mother upbringing for anything.

@pantherjad ummm, you must be on the wrong page...this is about love and family all within a legal context. You need to find the pages that speak to your interests in the terms you are seeking...neither belong to this video clip. There are no victims here, lest you be counted as the victimizer. I however, see you as a victim of ignorance and have optimism that in time you will experience and embrace the truth.

@knicks1616 Your label slinging begs the questions of who is angry. Not sure where your "anger" remarks come from, the video seemed filled with warm loving families. Maybe you need to look a little closer in the mirror and examine where the anger is really coming from... I hope you find peace. Best wishes for a wonderful new year.

@YnotRivera1 judging by your anger issues you are clearly lacking something. Its unfortunate and shows what happens without a loving mother and father are not around. Having 2 lesbo's or 2 gaylords in the house is redundent and not helpful. Its life having the ying without the yang. 10 gaylords in the house raising you will still not suffice for the absence of a loving mother. You'd would still be missing on something essential and important that may have helped you not have anger issues
