Both words have a similar meaning, ie. "happiness," and that's what the words literally mean, "The Gate of a Thousand Happiness. Mann wasn't incorrect in what he said.

the gate is not called "Cheen Fook Moon", it's "Cheen Hay Moon". And it doesn't mean "The Gate of a Thousand Happiness", it's "The Millenium Gate" to celebrate the installation of the gate back in 2000. Bryon should do his homework and learn some Chinese before doing this show
