Kenneth Gardner explains how you can use your therapeutic grade Young Living Frankincense essential oil, which is one of the 9 "Everyday Oils".

Hello, my name is Kenneth Gardner. I've been using the Young Living essential oils, and I love what they do for me. Believe it or not, I'm almost 50 years old. Today I'd like to tell you about frankincense, how I use frankincense essential oil and other ways you can use it. First, I want to let you know the reason why it's important to me to use the Young Living frankincense oil. It's because Young Living has rigorous standards on the production of all the oils. They use organic methods in the farming, chemicals are not used in order to distill the product, and they're not adulterated or synthesized. If I were even going to consider using any other oil, and I don't think any would compare, but I'd have to do a lot of research before I could even do that. The frankincense essential oil...just the smell of it is awesome! Here is the way I use it. I read that frankincense essential oil can help with sun-damaged skin, and, as you can see, I am pretty fair. I've had a lot of sun exposure on my forehead and temples, and I apply it directly just a drop at a time and spread it over my forehead and temples and even under my eyes. (Keep it away from the eyes.) I've seen an improvement in my skin. I also figure it's probably saving me expenses with the dermatologist. I can't say that for sure, but that's the hope. Another way I use it, which might sound a little strange, is to apply a drop to the crown of my head to the scalp. Just drip it onto the top of the head. What the frankincense seems to do is open the mind. I know it seems a little strange. The fact is that the oil penetrates through the body fairly quickly, and frankincense has an effect on the important glands in the brain, glands that effect memory, emotions, and even the key hormones of the body, the vital hormones. Frankincense is known to increase one's spiritual awareness, help with meditation, improve your attitude, and uplift your spirits. For those reasons, frankincense oil would be good in the case of depression. Like all the oils, it can be diffused using the Young Living diffuser. You can inhale it directly just like all the oils. The way you would do that is you would put a drop or two on the palm of your hand, rub your hands together, and cup your hands over your mouth and nose and breath deeply eight or ten times. Since all the Young Living oils are therapeutic grade, you can actually take some frankincense and take it internally by using one of the capsules available from Young Living. You can start with a few drops and increase it later. You would simply put it in a capsule and swallow it with water. Stress relief...most everyone needs that, and you can use frankincense for that purpose as well, which would be obvious from the other things I've told you. You can apply it to the temples and the back of your neck. You can be intuitive about it, just applying it wherever you're moved to apply it. It is said that the frankincense can actually improve your vision, by applying it over your eyebrows and on your temples. So maybe that's another benefit I'm getting from applying it to my face. That's the thing about all the oils which I find really interesting. When you use them for a specific purpose, you're probably going to get other benefits that you're not even thinking of. That's how wonderful the oils are because they work with the body and help the body to work better. Another use for the Young Living frankincense essential oil would be to apply it to a bleeding cut. That would help to stop the bleeding, disinfect it, and start the healing. It can be applied to scrapes and bruises and, as we already talked about, it can help rejuvenate the skin. It will help decrease oil production if you have a problem with that and decrease breakouts. A final way you can use the frankincense oil would be as a muscle relaxant. So those are the ways you can use the frankincense essential oil from Young Living. I'm Kenneth Gardner, and for more information, please visit KennethGardner.com.

  • how does that deffuser compare to the aura they r selling..

despite the look.. would u say any one is more functional than the other..

are there any other reasons to chose the one you have over the over (minice the price difference)

  • @ssips720 The Aria is tops. It seems to put out the vapor better. See the demo videos on my website home page. But don't pay attention to the prices since you would get 24% off those with a "distributor" account.

  • Hi I've been listening to your videos and I'm going to get me some of these oils. I noticed you said it was also good for muscles. I have inflammation and arthritis in my lower back. I'm on pain pills and muscle relaxers and I hate it. I only take them when I can't go anymore. So. I'm wondering what do you recommend and how should I take them. ( after listening to you for 3 days I'm willing to try. Besides I've been trying to go more organic and eat healthier. Thanks so much.

  • @citippett Excellent! I will contact you privately.

  • I haven't used this particular brand of essential oil but I do use Frankincense in the way mentioned for skin care, and can vouch for the fact that it helps with sun damage, I had a 'liver spot' developing on my arm and after applying this irregularly for a few weeks the colour has returned to that of a mere wrinkle, and the perimeter has decreased somewhat.

  • @vogonsrock That's great! I think you will find the Young Living frankincense to be therapeutically superior. It comes from the species Boswellia carterii. YL has a second variety called Sacred Frankincense that comes from Boswellia sacra in Oman. (Other companies use Boswellia frereana, which is not known for being nearly as therapeutic as either of these.)

  • Other oils, as well as Frankincense, that have anti-carcinogenic properties are: Sandalwood, and Myrtle. I hope this helps.

  • Oops the colour of the liver spot has returned to that of a freckle *not* wrinkle 8/

  • Frankincense Essential Oil also has anti-carcinogenic properties.
