Here is my brief review of the Soldier Class, feel free to leave comments and questions. Below is a transcript of the review:
Welcome to my Soldier Class Review, my name is SniperWolfHI
First off, if you're going to be playing this game by yourself or just simply enjoy running around and mindlessly shooting things with machine guns, this is definitely the class for you. I would say the Soldier Class is your most basic and well rounded character class in the game, and I strongly suggest if you're new to these kinds of games to start with the Soldier Class. You have a scorpio turret that will act as another player not he field which makes this an obvious choice if you're going to be playing single player. You can also equip it with artifacts as well to give your turret environmental damage that we've dubbed, El Terrible.
Now, with that being said, this guy is pretty awesome. As with all the other characters, you can pick and choose whatever weapons you want, but the difference lies in the class mods and skill trees which the Soldier has plenty of. I don't think I can play multiplayer without a good soldier in the group, mostly because we make him equip a +8 ammo regeneration class mod which basically makes picking up ammo off the dirty ground a thing of the past
No matter what your playing style is, if it's firing from a distance like a little pansy or just rushing in like an idiot, this character is so well rounded that he can do either or.
The Soldier is more of your mid-fielder, the tank guy runs around punching people and the sniper sits in the back while the siren chick sneaks up from behind, the soldier is your ideal man for support and can be set as your team's medic, which gains you almost instant friends on any group you join online.
His three skill trees are Infantry which concentrates mostly on his rifle and shotgun skills, the support which focuses mostly on your Scorpio turret, things like how many shots it can fire and how long it takes to recharge, and lastly your medic class, which is an essential part of any group so get used to being the group medic if you're the only guy playing as a soldier. Whatever you choose there is really no way to go wrong, you can always pay to redistribute your points, so play with it and see what works best for your playing style.
This pretty much covers your basic Soldier Class character and the bottom line is this is a very well rounded character that will appeal to almost any playing style. Thank you for watching.
Now this is my kind of character. I always prefer to play as a 'balanced' type of class in any RPG. Mainly because Im free to follow any fighting style that I want. I prefer to fight with variety than to master one skill or specialty. Good review.
