theres no place for commercial fishing in the great lakes today. many fish dont reproduce enough to sustain there existence, every type of commercial fishing in the great lakes catches large amounts of fish which are out of season to recreation fisherman to protect the species population. when a white fish commercial fisherman goes out, how many bass, pike, walleye, chinook, coho, atlantic, are caught, these are fish that we already spend millions of dollars trying to sustain, and regenerate

They still are using the trap nets in BayPort Where i worked on the boats for 2 years .
