My views on the Tea Party and Health Care Reform
The preamble of the Constitution reads as follows: "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." Note that it was to "promote the general welfare," not corporate welfare. Is promotion of the general welfare a Commie Socialist Marxist plot? NO. It is at the core of American values.

  • @abolof I worked on his campaign. I know what he's about. I like a lot of what he says, but he does not take into consideration the needs of the people who have been displaced by the Bush administration policies. I prefer his friend, Dennis Kucinich.

  • I have the intelligence to check at the source rather than just relying on hearsay. I also check news from sources outside the U.S. since they often get information that is withheld from the American people by American media.

  • You like to talk. This does not make you correct or intelligent. Healthcare is the largest taxation without representation in American History. If HC is voted in your Liberties and Freedom are gone. OK! The Gov. has no problem with you playing guitar in your parents basement. Just don't try to be successful at it. If you don't work to pay the $30 to $50 per week for your share you go to jail. This cost is mandatory Welcome to Serfdom/Slavery.
