U.N. resolutions/treaties must be ratified by Congress, otherwise there is no accountability to the American people. Only in an emergency can the President act militarily w/o a Declaration of War from Congress. U.S. foreign policy cannot be determined by other nations. That’s the problem with the World Trade Organization controlling our trade policy. The Stimulus couldn’t include the words “Buy American” without violating WTO rules. Why elect Presidents if they can be controlled by the U.N.?

I worked him in opposition to NAFTA and the transfer of U.S. trade authority to the World Trade Organization both supported by a Republican majority and signed by Clinton. Nader's for jobs for American workers. He opposes the Globalists Wars of empire. No UN treaty supersedes the US Constitution. Congress declares War, we’re not a military puppet of the U.N. A humanitarian act would be to deploy Peacekeepers to Libya, not missiles and bombs.

@22popuser ...yup, and that's why I voted for Nader in both 2004 and 2008. Even though I am more conservative and Nader is more of a socialist, he is one of the few who are constantly bitching about the real problems ruining the country, namely globalism.

Look, we can iron out the details later (healthcare, social issues, etc). Let's end the wars, prosecute corporate crime and get our industry back for now.
