-The floodlights of Cousteau divers illuminate the dazzling colors and flashing movements of reef inhabitants. Slender snouts of butterflyfish probe the interstices of corals. Moorish idols are so flat they are virtually one-dimensional works of graphic art. Outrageous stripes and spots actually camouflage the fish as they dart through pinnacles of coral. Banks of shiny jacks and fluttering rays dash over the reef. And humans in scuba gear joyfully blend into the crowd.
- Les éclariages des plongeurs Cousteau illuminent les couleurs éblouissantes des récifs et l'éclat de ses habitants. Les museaux très allongés des poissons papillons sondent les insterstices des coraux. Les Idoles des Maures (Zanclus cornutus) sont si plats qu'ils ressemblent à des oeuvres d'art en une dimension. De stupéfiandes bandes et tâches leur servent de camouflage quand ils se lancent à l'assaut des cimes des récifs coralliens. Des bancs de poissons scintillants virevoltent sur les récifs et les hommes équipés de leurs bouteilles de plongée se mêlent joyeusement à la foule.
