Following my previous "Flight Sim" video of the Agusta A109A flying as Chatsworth Televisions transport for the "Interceptor" I thought I'd upload another vid but this time featuring the craft from Chatsworth TV's more famous game show - "Treasure Hunt".
Sorry no virtual Anneka Rice, Anabelle Croft of Suzy Perry!!!

  • what happened to the helicopter? Did it crash?

  • If I remember rightly, its somewhere at the bottom of the English Channel! Had an engine failure and the crew had to ditch.

  • I did a repaint for Microsoft Flight Simulator and I put it up on a website called Simviation. It's under the FSX add ons>Helicopters and it's on page 16 about half way down.

  • Excellent work - love the classic crossover at the end.

  • LOL great stuff. Takes me back. I actually went in G-BHXU (massive claim to fame there !) gladly before it ditched in the sea. The coms helicopter G-SPEY was until recently still used by Castle Air but got a re spray a few years back to the black and yellow livery like the "Interceptor" helicopter.

Love to see those show back on TV !

  • Excellent. About the only two trademark Treasure Hunt shots that you didn't manage to model are: 1) the "camera hanging out of the helicopter as it skims across the water"; 2) the jump-cuts of the helicopter getting closer and closer, in time with the final beats of the music. Maybe they can go in Version 2 of the title sequence!

Excellent work apart from those two very minor omissions.

  • Brilliant! Needs a few stately homes, tug of war competitions, parachute displays and sarcastic looks from Wincey Willis, though.

  • Too bad the real G-BHXU is now on the sea bed about 19 miles off the coast of Alderney!

  • One of the best TV intos ever!

  • nice
