our final group project for Mike Scott's NMD295 class at UMaine. A system using homemade moisture sensors and a motorized spray bottle to keep a frog tank at the perfect moisture level.

  • interesting. still a few questions:

    Isn't the plaster of paris sensor pretty slow?

    Where are you actually measuring the mositure? in the air, in the soil?

  • or you could use one of those motorized sprayers vs a trigger sprayer. When it get's dry the sprayer turns on and mists the frogs and have it shut off after 5-10 seconds or so.
