If you read Malcolm's last speeches, from the last year of his life, you can detect a shift toward socialism. He mentions meeting real African revolutionaries, men who were white. Algerians, Mauretanians, Egyptians, all fighting for liberation against "the man". Some of his last public appearances were at Militant labor forums in New York.
