Does anyone know when this production was? I think Villazon sounds better here than I've heard him in ages.

@amfortas1978 That's nice to know! I love Keenlyside and Kaufmann, but haven't heard/seen them together and I didn't know the Hytner production went with that interpretation. I can definitely see it, though.

it's always the case.
this year J. Kaufmann and keenlyside play these two roles. they are both good looking and sing brilliantly... but they look more like in secret love than with Elisabeth. (in a good way)
