ARC master CAR 3481-1, rec. Chicago, 5 October 1936.
Paul "Hezzie" Trietsch (voc, d, washboard, slidewhistle), Ken Trietsch (voc, bj, g), Charles "Gabe" Ward (voc, cl, as), Frank "Gil" Kettering Taylor (voc, b, bj, g)
One of the most enduring and entertaining vocal/instrumental groups, the Hoosiers started their carreer in the mid-1920s and continued playing until 1980. Their combination of fine musicianship, lots of humour and (occasionally) total mayhem ensured that they still have lots of fans today - and an excellent web site: www.hoosierhotshots.com. They were also featured in several movies and soundies, a few of which you can find here on Youtube.
Brilliant!!! Many thanks...

Everything they do adds such fun to the song, they're always beyond the original, by a great big long shot!
