Yeah pretty much. Guys, it's okay for them to translate things when bringing a product to a non-Japanese-speaking population. Japanese words aren't a magical holy grail or whatever it is people get worked up about. Some things don't translate well, but it's a pretty literal translation of gomu = gum, which is rubber. Would you rather Luffy shout RUBBER RUBBER ROCKET!! rather than GUM-GUM ROCKET!! Gum sounds more similar to gomu than Rubber so it's obviously a better choice. o_0

Actually that's just every anime game every, story and fighting, but as for actual gameplay mechanics, unless koei have made a bleach game that is false, koei's games all run of off their own design, don't believe me? Play gitaroo man or Dynasty warriors
