I used to catch my train to London every morning throughout the 50s and 60s from either Ilford mainline or Gants Hill stations. It was a fantastic area to be then. I also spent several years working for Phonodisc, right there then in the middle of Iflord. It all looks so very different now. :-(

Lived in Ilford for 30 years, my parents moved once all the other white people moved out, is a dump now. Didn't mind the Indians but the others have turned Ilford and Barking into a slum. What a shame.

@AdrianMK3 I still like the area... The track belongs a 'cheap' movie called 'Go!'. I'm sure you can find the CD in Ilford;)
