-Segundo passo: abra o Gestor Simples de Configuração do Compiz, na aba "Ambiente de Trabalho" configure para que fique com uma coluna, duas linhas e muro na área de trabalho.

-Terceiro passo: abra o Gerenciador de Configurações do CompizConfig, habilite e clique para ver as opções de "Muro das Áreas de Trabalho" então vá para a aba "Mudar na Borda" habilite a opção "Mudar na Borda com ponteiro".
