  • How did Chalky and Toks ended up here???

    God bless them :)

  • James Bond author Ian Fleming bought his Jamaican estate from the mother of Chris Blackwell of Island Records ( who is credited with importing the music including a guy named Bob Marley to the UK). The books were written on the old Blackwell estate! There's a serious Bond connection if ya ask me...Plus the fascination extended from the country's political scene & economy being torn apart by dubious secret deals & agents of foreign powers controlling industry, and gov't.

  • chalky & toks

  • ska is the limit...

  • Most of the old James Bond movies had Jamaica as a back drop. (You know like - Bond drinking a Martini on the beach in Jamaica) Back in the 60's James Bond was very popular with Black Jamaicans (because of the local filming) so many Jamaicans tolk up the 007 character. That why 007 is sometimes mentioned in old ska music.
