I always liked this tune. A lot of backward rolls. Difficult if you don't watch what your doing.

  • Timing, Tone, and Taste!

  • I thank you kind sir!

  • It sounds like you are throwing in a 2nd string 4th fret? Its a good sound, did you do that? Takes some of the 'sweet' off it. Really pretty

  • Yes I did.....gives it a down play between the higher G note and the D note by forward rolling using that D#....I've heard Earl do it. Thanks!

  • Another Great Example of some classic pickin'

  • Thanks man! To me, that's the only way to play!

  • Hello Brent

Very nice to hear in the "tempo" adequate.

Run the banjo for 3 months, although I play the piano forever and some guitar, banjo was the instrument I wanted to play and now (at 66), I indulged. It helps your video, thank you.

A big hug from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Jose Luis.

Excuse me but I thought you would speak Spanish.

I was confused by "Granada", sorry.

    God bless you.

Me ayuda tu video, muchas gracias.Un fuerte abrazo desde Buenos Aires , Argentina, José Luis.

(Te escribo en castellano, pues veo tu identificacion como Granada, ok?)

  • How can I get the tab???

  • This song is so much better sounding in open G tuning .That tuned down fourth string sounds kinda crapie when you just use it on the G-- C at the end of the sentence..Have you tried to use the fourth on up the neck part with the F-G-F-G-C part .If you learn to do that then you got a great sound going for you.Only way it sounds full in C chord.. Try it you will love it...Still you did a good job in C Nice

  • That's the Scruggs version I so love. Thanks for playing it so well and for posting it. I really enjoyed this. I gave you the thumbs up.

  • great picking '"soooooon".

  • Great job! Keep on pickin'!

  • Absolutely beautiful.

    C tuning at it's finest.

I have to trade my gold star in for a granada!
