Canon 550D on Steadicam jr-first test

First setup/tryout of my Canon EOS550D, 18-135mm lens on my Steadicam JR. I used both stopblock, light and normal to test, only batteries in the lower spar, no weight. This is the light version of the JR so without monitor. Still difficult to balance, not as steady as a rock like I've seen in the instruction video of Garreth Brown, inventor of the Steadicam. More practice I assume. If somebody uses the same setup, please inform yr settings.

Further it's of course difficult to focus the 550D when walking so I used AF. Any suggestions?

Edited in iMovie09. No CC, exported from iMovie as Quicktime movie 1920*1080. 25p.

People asked how much did YOU PAY for the JR steady cam and you say Price varies, someone asked what aperture you used you don't even answer!  No help at all! I had questions to but i won't even waste anymore time here!

@bbllaakkee5460 Sorry for this. I paid € 200,- for this but sometimes you can buy them cheaper or more expensive on Ebay. I normally shoot everything on auto. In dark I use manual aperature like 1.8 with my 50mm 1.8.

and also what aperture you used for the video? for a better focusing, i guess it has to be greater then f4 rite?

@alfredteh In the evening I use 1.8 with my 50mm lens. I'm not sure what aperature I used during day shoots.
