It's funny, I never really put musicians on a higher plane...they are just people. But Hayden's work has become the soundtrack of certain parts of my life. He just hits that chord, so to speak. He lives in my neighbourhood (Parkdale in Toronto) and I get to chat with him here and there. Very down to earth kind of guy and a wonderful Canadian musician.

its funny, i had this memory from when i was super young (i am 25 now), this memory was of a video i seen on mtv in the 90's, i seen it like once or twice, and all i could remember was the name hayden, so i did a search and found the video for "bas as it seems", which is the video i seen, and then i decided to get the entire record... turns out i love it, what a gem of an album...and its awesome to see that this guy is still playing, i look forward to hearing more...

I just found this, thank you :) I was at this show and loved it as much as when I saw him at the "X Club" in Hamilton years before.  This was also the same eve that I developed a major girl crush on Basia Bulat. Brilliant Canadian talent x2.
