correction you can indeed play ps2 games on every ps3 execpt the 40gb model via download update on the playstation store its free all you have to do is go on the game section and look at add on's then disk based add ons and look for the item labled ps2 playable game its a black box with a blue line through it. Click it and it will autimaticly download --now you can play any playstation 2 game -- :)

the best feature is the divx xvid streaming. I can download a film to my pc and stream to the ps3 with absolute ease. Or I can put the ps3 in my living room tv and stream all the music from my pc upstairs to it, put it on shuffle great for parties. games are ok to lol

I know but when it came out I didnt have money to buy it I didnt even know it was good but now I do and I have lots of money the only problem is Ime going to have to buy a display from sonystyle its basicly a 60gb ps3 thats been opened and put on display for people to see buts its rarley been used so its good :)

No You can't. There was a 60 GB model of the PS3 that could do this, but it is discontinued.

I went through 2 xbox 360's and I was pissed. I decided to buy a PS3 and man was that the better buy, blueray,internet,great graphics,sociable and interactive all in one console. I nevr stop playing my PS3 it is awesome and so are the games and graphics

Yes! If you buy but one device, let it be a PS3.
I have all my High Def Home videos inside it and it plays outside from harddrives through USB as well-and it can keep up with High Def through the USB port!
