Boggob
Size: Nine
Planet Impact: Tempest
Well, at least they replaced the annoying BGM from the DS with something that sounds much more like a jungle environment; an upgrade that I'm really grateful for. Boggob's gravity scheme is much like Limotube's; Meteos act like they're jumping up and down when launched. The difference is that Boggob's Meteos launch a lot higher and don't take as many ignitions to be sent off the playing field. I guess they balance it out giving Limotube the superior planet impact, but who knows for sure.

Gravitas
Size: Ten
Planet Impact: Gambit
Gravitas is a bit tricky since they change some mechanics from the first game, but it's still an easy planet to use. As you can expect from a planet whose name is derived from the word "gravity", everything on Gravitas is heavy. Extremely heavy. So heavy that a single ignition won't send Meteos anywhere. But...a SECOND ignition will immediately send Meteos flying off the screen. And burnt Meteos take forever and a day to return to normal, so that gives you plenty of time to get a massive amount of garbage Meteos to send to your opponent. One thing you don't want to do is leave a single column of Meteos by itself. That's this planet's one big weakness since a single column may not have enough Meteos of the same type to launch twice.

Bavoom
Size: Nine
Planet Impact: Sentinel
Epic BGM and planet design is epic. A sharp contrast to the DS version, I find this planet much easier to play as in this game. Bavoom is a very unique planet since using the speeder actually makes Meteos fall slower, like debris or other objects caught in a strong wind current. When going at normal speeds, launched Meteos just jump up and down like previous planets. So unless you're being overwhelmed, you want to try to keep the speeder running at all times. That way, you'll never run out of Meteos to ignite and you'll be sending them to your opponent at the same time. It's a win-win situation. ^_^

  • Gravitas owns.

But I prefer DS BGM for Gravitas, is a hard-rock like music.

  • they made grivitas harder O.O

  • what mechanics in gravitas are changed from the original?

  • @racer927

They screwed up a lot of stuff in Meteos Wars.

  • Gravitas's physics didn't change from the DS version. Neither did Bavoom's physics. I think all the old planets kept the same physics, they just added new graphics and sound.

  • spin bavoom! SPIN!!!! xD

  • Boggob got a good music upgrade. Not much else to say.

What, why isn't Gravitas allowed to have rock music? Especially now that the ultra-gravity them looks far too toned down here, and the planet didn't look that round either.

Is Bavoom invisible, or is it really just a giant inhabitable cyclone? (Because wind currents, let alone a twister, in space is outright odd) The music is a welcome upgrade; I think it should be inducted with the starter planets to join the other base elements.

  • Holy crap, Bavoom's music has been heavily made better.

  • Did you stop making Pokemon battle revolution videos ? :(
