  • i read in a us army survival manual that rabbits do not have anuff nutrients to keep you alive. If you where to just eat rabbits you would eat you self to death!

  • Thank you for the great info for people. I have read the same sort of thing if you Google Rabbit Starvation you can learn a little about it. I'm not worried my Rabbits have some fat on them. It's not the only meat I eat either. If you make a good Rabbit stew your other ingredients will provide you with all the nutrients you need. After reading more on it some people still think it's a myth. I don't know do your own research.

  • I think you could say you will die from eating just one type of any food for a long period of time. Say just eat only one type of lettuce every day for a long period of time. See what would happen to your body then.

  • @angryfurniture And yummy food.

  • I have a small bunny she is a Mini Rex a really freindly breed and she never runs from me she runs right up to me and she if friendly she is a good pet and a bunny can be a very loving pet if giving just a little bit of love.

  • @CONSTRINGACY Glad ya think so.

  • @countrybabe561 Thats awesome.

  • @CONSTRINGACY I'm 14 and I help my dad slaughter my extra show rabbits. I'm not a stupid city girl. I was raised around animals and learned to respect them. I am no sissy. I think horse crap smells better than perfume, I would rather clean cages than go shopping, and I would rather have a horse than my best friend. And if you piss me off, prepare for a sore ass.

  • Great Video..I just started doing the whole rabbit thing...I am in the Mid Willamette Valley Myself...I subbed you...Blessings!

  • @34sunbunpart2 that is ridiculous, no one who raises rabbits for meat turns them into pets first. Rabbits do not bond to humans--at all ever. Even those kept as so called "pets" would run away as fast as they could the first chance they got. btw, are you a vegetarian? If not, you are a hypocrite.

  • @adb024 thats BS excuse to pardon yourself. rabbits are just as dogs and cats why not raise dogs? rabbits have many varieties like domestic pets. how many ounces do you get from a loving rabbit? We dont have enough chickens or roosters? Its understandable if you need to hunt in the wild but its like raising frogs for their legs , bit exoctic and teadies. I hope your business stinks , you may do better selling them as pets.

  • @deniwest57 livestock is an easy word to label them with. funny how you can go to extremes naming the differing kinds which were done for domestication as dogs and cats were bread. It is like taking a loving animal who trusts you and than killing it for little meat. I havent seen nice bulls, roosters or wild boar for the most part and yes theres exceptions but most domestic rabbits are personable just like a dog or cat. why not raise dogs for meat , you might find a sale.
