such a difficult issue.as some one who loves the yiddish tongue i would hate to see it die as it has been.but at the same time i can see its natural uselessness to a degree making it not a language of importance in the big picture.
but what would it be like without shmeckle,or shmuck,putz?

@gazrobbo53 yiddish is a dying horse just like ladino. jews should speak to each other today only by hebrew. it's absurd that in some jewish school yiddish is being taught instead of hebrew.

DNA, для них это ностальгия, воспоминание о тех годах когда они были молоды и пели эту песню.Я лично к ним серьёзно не отношусь. Для меня уникально то, что они поют на yiddish. Этот язык к сожалению умирает.

Если разобраться, ничего плохого в самой песне нет.Internationale был придуман во Франции в 1871.Свобода, равенство, сестринство - к этому всё прогрессивное человецтво всегда стремилось. А то что в СССР не было ни свободы, ни равенства. ни сестринства это уже другая тема.
