@jsmbc101 I Use an 25 watt soldering iron and it take some time but it do the job so,
Yep it works

A rubber band on the Handle of the pliers will insure a firm but light grip on the connector

EC3 connectors rock! I just picked up that same Weller WES51 soldering station in the video. What temp do recommend for soldering battery leads, ESCs, etc? Thanks.

does it matter male or female plugs? What does male or female mean? Can you explain?

@chrisrain11 You will need to cut them off one at a time and repair/resolder the new connector on

do you really need a 40 watt soldering iron to install these? I have a 25 watt soldering iron. Will this not do the job or just take quite a bit longer? If this will not work, I know you sell a connector with wires already attached, so no big deal, I'm just curious. Thanks and keep up the good work!

@jsmbc101 25-watt is pretty low power and there isn't much RC-related that I would use a 25-watt on.
