This is the PICKit2 demo board, and this is the first working program I was able to upload to the chip :) It actually isn't that easy as it looks like. Since the standard "hello world" program (blinking LED) seemed far to boring, I decided to add some Pulse-Width Modulation, to get the fade-in and fade-out effect. Initially I was scaling the pulse lengths linearly, but it didn't look so good, I went for an exponentially-changing pulse length, using a table lookup :)
