@nigeSW Feminism is a political movement which opposes all systems of oppression and so is against all rape and abuse. 1/4 women suffers rape, 90% of rape is of women and girls. Vast majority of violence against women is committed by men. 92% of prostituted women state they would leave prostitution if they could. These are facts not thought, and are certainly good reason to fight for women's rights. If women are human just like men it is logical that they should be given equal rights.

@unicornfears How many women fake a rape allegation?.how many women rape men?.....how many women abuse men? How many women prostitutes 'trade' while under no pressure from an outside source?. How many women lie?. You 'cherry pick' your issues without thought or reason.

@nigeSW suggesting women should not be blamed for being raped, asking for better education surrounding relationships in school, and objecting to violence against women is not 'gobbing off', these are important issues facing women today. I do not think that asking for justice/ support for rape victims is 'trouble making'. I put it to you that you are being highly illogical, as gender equality is a humanitarian aim. If you are speaking as human, show some compassion and respect for other humans.

it seems that feminists these days are from the fringes...........they dont speak for the majority of women......and they dont certainly speak for humanity. Yes i'm a man. But i speak as a human with no chip on my shoulder...no issues.......just human logic.

I put it to the person gobbing off in this video, that SHE is a 'troublemaker', and never learnt what life is.

The feminist movement in the UK is growing and becoming more and more influential, we are coming together and making people see that violence against women is unacceptable and we will not stand for it, bit by bit we are steadily gaining ground for the rights of women to be treated as human beings.Keep fighting the good fight! Together we will PUT A STOP TO THIS MISOGYNISTIC CULTURE AND END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN!

@MegaTress1 And, in another recent survey, 56% of interviewed britons stated that women should take some responsibility for having been raped. Don't these sound like attitudes that need a serious overhaul? Even with these shocking figures, think about the vast amount of abuse that goes on and is not reported due to our great societal blaming of women for violence and rape committed against them.

@MegaTress1. I'm sorry you feel that men are being demonised by being asked not to rape, batter and kill women. To me, that is just asking for basic human decency. Since when was the nuclear family a good thing? It is an archaic model based on the subjugation of women for profiteering.

@MegaTress1 Tell that to the many women and children I know personally who have suffered domestic violence. It is not a lie, it is something we bear witness to every day. 2 women a week are killed by a male partner in the UK. Services for abused and raped women are sorely under funded e.g. Rape Crisis centres.
