What a dumb bitch. How can you not check to see how much room you have between you and the floor? And then she thinks flailing around in a pit of razor sharp wire is a good idea?
Step 1, check your footing, step 2 you can't turn back, if you have to go through the wire land on the razorwire with your feet and slowly make your way out as to not struggle and catch every single limb on the wire.
I know it's a movie but why in horror movies is the girl always such a dumbass, it's cliche.

Running is always good. But for the first few moments, she could have at least tried to hold the lock down. Tried to grab whatever the killer was using to unlock the door. Don't just watch...
She sure did scream a lot. Probably how he found her. Not that he needed to. Could have just left her there.

@gordonmorton1976 That looked like a straight razor blade. Stilettos are pointy, that was square on the tip.

So that's where Paul Heyman kept all the barbed wire.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I can't believe people actually see Dario Argento as a genius.

1. It's not barb wire, it's razor wire. The kind of stuff that comes with a warning: DO NOT TOUCH, EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. 2. It was not a butter knife, it was most likely a type of stiletto(dagger). 3. Suspiria is perhaps the greatest horror film of all time, the people criticising this scene probably thought the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street was better than the original. Rant over.

Dumb bitch, got killed by a f*ckin slinky

Suspiria! awesome.

Great scene but for me it takes the scariness out of the death when she get's her throat slit. It'd be a lot creepier if there were no exits to the room and she was left to bleed to death in the razorwire.
great movie. the first 10 minutes is so fricking intense though.
