Oh I wish I could turn the clock back 40 years ago. We used to go listen to them play. Free Again was my favorite but they wrote some stuff themselves that was really good.

Used to hear them live. Excellent band. Amongst other great Rochester bands, Poor Heart ( Lou Grammitico) , Brass Buttons, Wilmer Alexander & the Dukes, The Howse, Invictas, and the names go on. Dave Colon performed with me onstage At Edison Tech. We did Louie Louie, he sang it (dirty) and knocked the principal off his chair. George Cochinni and I performed at Edison all through our HS days.

@BestMusicExpert ... You said it. Just last night I was listening to 3 dog night's version and thought how much better the Rustix version sounded. The brass really made the song.

@ndmike88 hahaha, yes. My friend told me when he was a kid, he could always hear them playing in the garage when he was taking his bath. I saw them play at my High School in '71 and '72. They got back together in '79(?) and played at the "schoolhouse" on Rt31. The place was so packed I couldn't get in.

Grew up listening to the Rustix in Rochester. Used to listen to them practice in a garage on Merchants Road.

Yes, a good version. I like the GFR version, but it never stays long here on YouTube.
