@Lightemup2k10 His promos in 2001 was legendary too..got some of the biggest pops in history. The pre Summerslam stuff with Booker was hilarious...the Stephanie insults...the way he basically spat on Austin, HHH, and Angle leading to WM 17....The Rock is the Rock. There is no "certain era". He's always been a cheered villain....from the get go. No matter the voice tone, and that's strange for a DUDE to be wondering about voice tones anyway..
