(THIS HORSE IS NOT FOR SALE...SORRY)

*Ok I have to add, I had only been learning to properly ride/train horses for the last month maybe (Beginning of 2009). Before then, I had NO prior experiences training horses or knowing even what a lead change was! Since I posted this video, she and I have both progressed A LOT...

Training Fiesta, my almost 3 year old Quarter Horse x Mustang Filly. She's coming along nicely and will hopefully be a nice barrel prospect. She's one of the smartest horses ever...once you teach her something, it doesn't take her long to pick up on it. She's a horse you only have to tell a couple times and after that, she won't question what she's doing, she just does it. I love her so much and she's going to be a great little...BIG...horse (she's still got some growing and filling out to do)! I have not rode her all winter, maybe only a handful of times since I started her from no training at all, last July/Aug and stopped in October so I'm real proud of how well she's coming along! (No she is not for sale)

  • NIce!!! I have an Andalusian mare named Fiesta!!:) ^_^ This is cool, lol. Awesome video! We have horses with the same name, lol.

  • Pretty girl! I got a 3 year old appaloosa I trained by myself and just started on barrels. She is a natural and a fast learner. Curved around the barrel on the first go. I think training your own horse from the beginning makes such a difference in the bond you have! I hope she does great :)

  • wow i have a mustang x quarter horse 2 and im hoping 2 turn her into a barrel racer also but shes four turning 5 next year yes they ARE very smart ..and listen really well but their stubburness iz truly hard headed lol i will sub 2 u 2 c how u guys get.
