Filmed at the International Wing Chun Academy.

In this video clip, Sigung Tsui Seung Tin (Chu Shong Tin) demonstrates an application of the Sil Lim Tao form by projecting thought force through his arm to simultaneously defend against and attack his opponent.

  • It's all structure and relaxation, if you want to improve quicker, relax!

  • I agree 110%. I am completely amazed and awed in how his energy and power is without brute force, it's is simply amazing. I am honored, I have learned alot by just having listen and watch him for few hours. This is coming from someone that has been practicing Wing Chun for almost 18 years. I feel like my Wing Chun makes so much more practical sense now just by the way he demonstrates and uses his theory to note the most simple but yet effective power. He is a true master.

  • both a subconscious and conscious understanding, then you can attempt to develop the nim lik.

although it takes years... no one else aside from sigong has it...

  • Yes, and such a deceptively simple force is always readily available for anyone, regardless of status, provided they summon it properly. Many times, completely unaware of it, we are able to summon such a force, but without a conscious understanding of it, it soon slips away.

  • I read a good article by Sigung Chu Shong Tin, and he explains this as Nim Lik ( force of idea/intent ).

  • haha! ive learned something!

  • Thanks for sharing this video and for providing the link for the other videos as well.

  • I cannot believe the level of knowledge of this GM !

Such a privilege to have witnessed and learned this.

This is the essense of Wing Chun right there.

I did not think much of the IWCA until I saw this.

    Totally blown away.
