Issues With Diablo 3: Poor Implementation Of Difficulty

For the record, I've played Diablo 3 for 80 hours now. I've slain Diablo on Inferno and I've assembled a survivability, DPS, and magic find set. I'm sure I'll find myself playing it for much longer: Diablo 3 is not a bad game.

I agree with you. To me it feels like they were dumbing down the game to appeal for a simple minded audience.

There is no real death penalty.

You have infinite teleports and item identification.

There is no risky hardcore pvp, just some brawler guy with cheesy dialogue like the rest of the game. And you can no longer choose who you play with it even sets you up with people. Those are my issues with the game.

It helped Pete to speed level through Diablo 3 and consequently ｍａｘ ｏｕｔ ｈｉｓ ｃｈａｒａｃｔｅｒ very fast ｍａｋｉｎｇ ａ ｌｏｔ ｏｆ ｇｏｌｄ ｏｎ ｔｈｅ ｗａｙ. Hopefully it works for you too...

Even if I play Dark Souls there's no reason why I would come to the same conclusion as vidyagaymelive regarding which parts of Demon Souls should be added into D3.

These problems shouldn't have even been an issue ESPECIALLY with a company as big and funded Blizzard. And do yourself a favor and play Dark Souls if you havent yet

These problem have pretty much been fixed due to variable monster power. Also vidyagaymelive you don't explain in what way the Dark Souls difficulty is better than the Diablo difficulty so unless you've played both games it's impossible to know why one difficulty mechanic would be better than another.

I've finished Inferno a week after launch and I have to say it was largely overblown in difficulty. The issue is not player skill, but the generally primitive game mechanics that Blizzard used.
