We should all be grateful for christianity in terms of all the good institutions such as red cross, salvation army etc...but what if the gov. would force individuals to give part of their individual taxes to help one another in the society? where would be the church here? so yes the church show up in history because the kings had to give too much to the nobles, and the church was the force used to fight that...and too much was taken from the people...but in nowadays, only the parliaments decide.

Churches are condemned, as men start to understand they are institutions controlled by the governments to educate the people as always. Now people is finally starts to pursue their values of freedom and get less afraid of religious criticism and duality about what's wrong or right. after all we all want to make a difference. There is no such thing as chosen religion.God has many aspects and anyone can approach on his own way Jesus would be sad to see the indoors theatre shows and separation.

@squirrelygirl816 Why the heck would you want female priests? There has never been a female priest in the Catholic Church and never will be. The day it will permit females to become priests will be the end of the Catholic Church.

Actually, in the traditional Rite, a newly ordained priest will impart his first blessing, then lay his hands open with the palms facing upward so the faithful can kiss his hands. I've only had the opportunity to do this once, but it was an awesome experience. Of course, when the old rite is served, the deacon or the master of ceremonies always kisses the priest's hand when something is handed to him or something needs to be taken back.

There's some new important finds in Saudi Arabia pertaining to Mt. Sinai & the 40 year wandering. An 8 year investigation by a family documented a mass grave near the mountain in question, plus almond trees, fig trees, quail that still land there, the massive split rock with water erosion, the oldest known menorah inscription, the giant golden calf altar with inscriptions, remains of the 12 pillars, & Bedouin tradition confirming it, etc, etc. Something to consider.
