id say it would be okay because for the powerplay kaberle and phanuef would be amazing but with are team now i dont think we will be the one gettng the powerplay

Stay...... He is still an elite d-man and in my opinion he is a better puck carrier than Dion, we need him on the PP he is loyal to Toronto and he wants to stay, he makes a good wage and will sign on at a discount because of his loyalty, KEEP HIM he is one of the best Maple leafs of all time, a truly special player for this franchise.... You would have to be to put up with all of the losing that has occurred the past 5 years... i agree 100% with you, and i think Burke is starting to as well!

@GOPReaganomics I'd like to think he is!! Yes this comment alone pretty much sums up why I still want him in Toronto! I would not be pissed off if he got traded for the RIGHT package.. but I also wouldn't be pissed if he came BACK to Toronto!

Kaberle has a heck of a shot when he wants to use it... but yeah I see your point, its not very often.. I don't think we would see another Sundin Soap Opera with Kaberle..

The thing about Kaberle, is the fact he has been ineffective on the power play. And his lack of shooting has basically handcuffed the other defenseman, as the opposing team isn't going to focus on Kabby, and instead go to the other point, and force unnecessary turnovers that we don't need. The other thing, he's going to get older, and his skillset isn't as good as it once was. Also the last thing we need is for another Sundin type soap opera this year in terms of him staying or going.
