Strongly agreed. The elevator itself is indeed interesting. It's like an amusement park ride. I have never stayed there because I live in New Jersey, close to NYC. But I did go there in October 2007 to have dinner on the 48th floor

Yes it is a nice place. I only went to dinner there...since I live in New Jersey (which is closeby), I didn't stay there. Plus, staying at a hotel in Manhattan wasn't necessary for me due to the close distance.
