  • It's funny how when people think of martial arts, they automatically think of the East Asian fighting styles. However, we know that martial arts is everywhere we see when people have to fight.

  • @gray1595 Ah I see that makes much more sense. Thank you for clarifying!

  • @UJS8X hi.. well no but over time words change and the old translation for animositie is very different from the term we use today, for example if you look at the origin of the word- [Middle English animosite, from Old French, from Late Latin animsits, courage, from Latin animsus, bold, from animus, soul, spirit; see an- in Indo-European roots.] you get a better idea of why Saviolo uses this word. hope this helps.

  • Why does the seal at the beginning say "animositie?" Is that the mindset you really teach to your students?

  • From about 0.10, it looks like a much shorter sword would have the advantage.

  • Give us more clips, guys! Excellent work!

  • Oh sorry, you wrote it in the video.

  • Btw the music is great, what is it?

  • Great video, great fencers, one of the best recreation of historical swordsmanship I have seen until now. Greetings from the Broadsword Academy Germany.
