  • why dont you use a finger per fret? i noticed on the pattern at 5:30 that your not using your 4th finger for that 4th fret in the pattern?

  • @ravenshield56 It's just my personal preference. I say, it doesn't really matter what finger you hit the note with because it sounds the same either way! If it's more complicated and I have to, then I use one finger per fret as you mentioned.

  • @RedSGShredder ahh :) my teachers are telling me to do figner per fret, but with 5 years self-taught, you pick up bad habits, and i think its easier your way

  • @ravenshield56 That's why I never got lessons. I don't believe in 'picking up bad habits' or anything like that. Everyone plays guitar differently. It's not a science, it is an art. If it was a science (like math, engineering) then yes, it has to be exact and there is only one way to do it. But if it is an art (cooking, guitar, painting) then in my opinion, you should do it the way that feels right to you. It's just my opinion and I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with me.

  • dude your inlays they kinda look like shark tooth inlays what are they

  • Yes, they are shark tooth. Well I think they are. There are two "teeth" if you will.
