It can save lives except for the enemys.

??? It doesn't matter what others feel about the 'idea' to build robots designed and programmed to perform specific tasks.

As technology improves, robots will be used to replace a lot of the jobs we humans are hired to do.

It already exists today.

Robotics will be extemely popular in 10 or 15 years, but we will need the funding, technology, materials, demand, rise, patents, and laws passed to allow robots to live among us...that is, until they become self aware!

It's inevitable!

1:50 to 3:00 looks like a combination of Alive in Joburg (District 9 film) and Tempbot. BOTH of which are short films by Neill Bomkamp. If anyone knows where this footage was taken from, please message me cause i'm a huge Blomkamp fan.
